The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep

A huge new music reality competition show from the creator of "The Biggest Loser," and Queen Latifah, is coming to CW18.  And it's kicking off right here in Orlando.

Music legends, Joe Jonas, Gloria Estefan, John Rich, and Nelly, will have 72 hours to mentor four of Orlando's local stars, and give them the chance to become the next national superstar!

AND YOU COULD BE THERE!

It's all happening at the House of Blues on July 11th.  See performances by the four mentors and the four local contestants, and help turn one of Orlando's local stars into a national superstar.

150 winners will receive admission to the show for themselves and a guest.
10 lucky viewers will win the grand prize: admission to the show for themselves and a guest, plus a chance to see behind the scenes and meet Joe, Gloria, John, Nelly, and the local contestants!

” No one was more excited to work with an incredible acting talent than film newcomer, Gloria Estefan, who had been looking to act for some time. “I was looking for a small role in a meaningful film.” Estefan knew she could learn a lot from Streep and she watched her carefully and did her best to learn as much as she could from her. “Streep is very giving and very supportive to everyone around her.” Estefan continues, “I just saw her do a scene with the audience and the camera wasn’t even on her and she did this amazing thing that just made everyone spellbound and right into what she was doing, and it’s a very giving thing for an actor to do. That’s why she is at the top of her game.”

The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep, debuting on Thursday, Aug. 16 at 9/8c, will document a nationwide search for undiscovered artists on the verge of stardom. Mentors include Gloria Estefan, Joe Jonas, Nelly, and John Rich.

Kathy Griffin has always gone for shock value in her stand up routines.
But she maybe went one step too far when she hoisted up her leopard print dress while on stage last night to reveal her baggy granny underpants.
The 51-year-old was performing at Hard Rock Live! in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida and the look on her co-host Gloria Estefan's face really said it all.
